I had such a fabulous "last days of summer" with Olivia. It is such a blessing to have been home with her during the month of August. As a single parent, I've worked full time (and then some!) all her life while leaving her in the care of sitters, camps, daycare, community programs etc. She's always been well cared for and she's had plenty of fun over the years, but this time that we got to spend together has been priceless.
So in honor of recognizing our blessings, both big and small, I give you Music Monday's pick: Keb Mo, Loola Loo. I used to sing this song to Liv 10 years ago but I'd insert Livvy Loo in place of the Loola Loo....
