It's always so hard to predict what colors people are going to love.  There's a lot of methods or theories out there based on a lot of research on this topic. These get published out to the world via the interwebs in the form of the Color Trends Report and the Sensational Color & Design Trends 2011-2012 Presentation.  There's even a Pantone Color of the Year - Honeysuckle > gorgeous! - and the Benjamin Moore 2011 Color of the Year - Vintage Wine > very classy!
