Well, here we are at the end of 2012, and what a year it has been! We are definitely looking forward to what 2013 will bring, but first let’s take a look at some of the highlights from the past year…
• By using Pink Elephant Academy's Sweetly Selling Workbook we further defined the meaning behind this series and appropriately titled it The "Near & Dear" Gift Collection.
• We were featured in US Weekly magazine Valentine Gift Guide and our orders SOARED as we made our way into 2012.
• We moved! (well... kind of) We shifted around the house and made our studio space 3x larger to accommodate our growing business.
• We fell in absolute love with Shovels & Rope.
• We worked hard, but we definitely set aside some time to play too! We went to Delfest, my mom and I travelled to Cincinnati through northern Kentucky and into southern Indiana to buy Gerite, we went out to the Lake Erie islands and went camping several times with friends and family.
• We rescued Puffy the dog and got him safely back to his owners.
• I officially became an LLC! Brooke Witt Art & Design, LLC. Oh yeah baby... :)
• I figured out the daunting task of source my own health insurance, opening a business bank account and getting my accounting straight!
• My skyline design was featured in Cleveland Magazine "Best Of" issue!
• I set a personal goal of 6,000 Etsy sales this year and reached it! With today left to go, we're currently at 7,661! Boo-yah!
• We continued to build and grow our friendships with other artists and makers. Here's a few you should check out: Q2 Jewelry, Tough & Twisted, Wild Pulp, Boko Photo and 60Watt Funnel.
And last but not least...
• We got married in the biggest way!
That’s really just the tip of the iceberg. Such a great year and we are truly blessed! It’s crazy to look back over the course of a whole year and see all that happened. We have so many exciting things already lined up for 2013…so let’s get on with it!
Thanks to those of you who have followed us this year – our hope is that 2013 brings you joy and happiness. Let’s make it our best year yet!
